My name is Sandi Rossol, and I have lived in Autumn Woods for ten years. I appreciate being a part of Jonathan. My family has lived in many major cities & suburbs before Chaska. We have always been members of homeowners associations. I served on boards in many of these areas. I understand the value of the associations like Jonathan.
I work as a Sales Representative for a printing company. I manage purchases for many companies. I have two sons, both Chaska graduates. Over the years, I have been a volunteer serving in many positions. I want to serve as a board member because of injustice I have been watching. I believe the current board has undermined Jonathan. Our community and common properties have been neglected. They’re not representing their community as they were elected to do. I have to do my part to preserve Jonathan.
Most homeowners do not understand that the City of Chaska has made it clear they have no interest or liability to maintain the existing playgrounds, trails, and common area properties, but be required to carry liability insurance to protect themselves and their properties. City officials have made their position clear. Homeowners are being misled. The cost to start their own associations will be greater than their current dues.
If elected, I intend to: 1. Stop this litigation immediately 2. Protect property values by enforcing architectural guidelines 3. Support equitable distribution of our resources so all members see the benefits and realize their share of the resources 4. Maintain common areas including Lake Grace 5. Treat all who approach our board with professional conduct, respect, and dignity. All opinions are valuable. 6. Exercise common sense and restraint making decisions that affect all members.
